Lewis Hamilton, Greta Thunberg etc

I see so much negativity about Lewis Hamilton, when he announced his plan for a vegan burger.

How he flies around in a private jet (which he has sold now) and works for a multi national gas guzzling company (yeah, his job) and he's just getting on the vegan bandwagon to make money.

Yeah, maybe he is. But the point of the matter is, he's trying. He's making a difference no matter how small. And that's what starts the recovery of our planet.

And the hatred towards young girls like Greta who is doing a fabulous attempt to get people to listen to reality.

Small steps. Is it enough? Who knows. But it's worth making some small steps ourselves.

My son and I don't eat meat or dairy, and as I'm the cook, the meat consumption in our house has decreased dramatically. And nobody is missing out. It's still the same tasty offerings but without the cruelty and damage. Small steps.

We have recycled toilet roll, kitchen roll and tissues. Small steps.

We have shampoo bars and shower bars. No more bottles. Small steps.

We've just started getting chemical free, no cruelty, washing capsules and dishwasher tablets with recycled and recyclable packaging. Small steps.

These haven't happened all at once, they've been progressive and more will come when we find reasonably priced, eco alternatives for things. Small steps.

I've found that the people who make the most noise about celebrities like this, are the ones that are doing precisely nothing to help the planet.

What is your contribution to our planets recovery?

Stop forcing veganism on me!

I respect the fact that you're vegan but stop forcing your beliefs on me. There's nothing more forceful than non-human exploitation!...
